About the Role
DPCS Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supervisor to lead store, inventory, and material management operations at our Pune facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP/SAP-based procurement and inventory processes, strong vendor coordination skills, and the ability to manage a small team to ensure smooth goods receipt, stock control, and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day store and warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
- Oversee Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) cycle and ensure timely processing in the ERP/SAP system.
- Monitor and approve Goods Receipt (GRN/MIGO) entries, ensuring accuracy of quantities and documentation.
- Review Invoice Verification (MIRO) and coordinate with the accounts team for timely vendor payments.
- Maintain and audit Material Master and Vendor Master data for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies between system and physical inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors for delivery schedules, shortages, quality issues, and timely escalation of delays.
- Supervise and guide store executives/assistants, allocate daily tasks, and monitor performance.
- Support production and dispatch teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability for domestic and export orders.
- Implement and maintain 5S, safety, and good housekeeping practices within the stores area.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on stock levels, consumption, and vendor performance.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 (MM Module) or similar ERP systems (Odoo, Creative ERP, etc.).
- Sound understanding of stock and non-stock procurement, inventory control, and store management processes.
- Good vendor coordination, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to lead and supervise a small team of store staff.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Good communication skills in Hindi, Marathi, and basic English.
- Proficiency in MS Windows and basic MS Office applications.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline
- SAP MM Certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in stores, inventory, or material management, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Prior experience in a team-leading or supervisory capacity is preferred.
